Location:

This residential camp takes place at the Colegio Alemán, the campus of one of Spain’s most prestigious private schools.  It is set in a peaceful residential neighbourhood on a hilltop overlooking the centre of Marbella.  The views are spectacular and from either side of the campus you can view a different coastline - either Marbella or Estepona - and the beach is just 6 km away!

Facilities:

The Colegio's principal building houses the student residences, dining hall, a conference room, a canteen, an infirmary and various common areas. Classrooms are located in a separate building, adjacent to the sports centre. The wide range of facilities includes an indoor/ outdoor multipurpose centre, a pool, extensive gardens, a soccer field, 2 volleyball courts, a basketball court and a handball court.

The Course:

Spanish course is organized into 20 lessons per week, with 4 lessons everyday, Monday through Friday. Each class is 45 minutes in length, and there is a maximum of 12 students per class to ensure that every student receives individualized attention.

The carefully designed curriculum emphasizes conversation and communication, so that students may take full advantage of their surroundings and apply what they’re learning by speaking with friends during the remainder of the day. The morning class hours are the only time when Spanish and international students are separated; they rejoin at the end of the language classes.

The Teachers:

The teacehrs are all highly qualified with university degrees, specialized in teaching Spanish. They are also experienced in the field of childhood education, with a wide knowledge of techniques, activities and motivating tools to make sure their assigned age group is engaged, learns to the maximum and has fun at the same time.

Accommodation:

The dormitory rooms are furnished with bunk beds and closets and accommodate 5 to 6 students, grouped according to age and sex. Each room has a private bath.  At least one counselor sleeps in each bedroom to supervise the campers.

All students are on full-board, which means they will receive breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner daily.  On days when students leave campus or excursions or activities they will be provided with a packed lunch and snack.
